Photo shoot on the light rail in Minneapolis. La Crosse Photographer Michael Lieurance
June 23, 2010We scored a sweet location with the light rail in Minneapolis. We had 5 models doing various working shots while commuting. Here is the one that I liked with the Apple’s new Ipad. Sweet! For all of the photo geeks, lighting was natural with a small silver reflector on the floor kicking a highlight in the models eyes. Nikon D700 with a 50mm lens shot at F/1.6.
Here is the latest commercial shoot I completed with one of my clients. The locations are in Minneapolis with professional models. Lots of study shots.
Steve and Sarah’s Wedding took place on May 22, 2010. Another beautiful day in La Crosse. The light was great that day and I always love shooting at the English Lutheran Church on King St. It’s so bright inside. Thanks again Steve and Sarah. Mike
Here is Joe and Kristen’s sneak peak. It was a fun and beautiful day. Thanks for the letting me share your day with you. Mike
Nicole and Nicks Sneak Peak, La Crosse Wisconsin Wedding Photographer Michael Lieurance
May 25, 2010It was a beautiful spring day for taking pictures. Thanks Nick and Nicole for letting me capture your day. Mike
I just finished a nice photo shoot with 11 models for one of my clients. The theme is studying anywhere anytime. It turns out that this client has a found out that their competitors use the same stock photography that they used for their catalogs. Lucky for me they picked me to do their own brand photography. After crunching numbers they have found out it’s a better value to hire someone to create their own personalized images that they can use rather than purchase stock photography. It turned out really well. Below are two images that picked out of hundreds.
Lighting is using 1 Profoto Acute pack with one head shooting through a one stop Scrim Jim fabric. With a disk reflector. Nikon D700 with a 24-70 f2.8 wide open at F2.8 tethered to CaptureOne Pro.
